Worcester Natural Therapy has helped people since 1982. The Centre was originally set up as a Charity and one of its aims was to provide a venue for people to receive Complementary Health Care as well as providing a venue for natural health therapy practitioners.
Due to financial difficulties in 2002, the Trustees changed the Centre’s policy to only providing financial assistance for patients and not to fund the venue.
3 Counties Holistic Healthcare is a charity that has been set up to fill a gap in healthcare provision. Currently, people on low incomes and from marginalised groups whose lives could be improved by Complementary Therapies have little or no access to them. Our aim is to provide subsidised complementary therapies to those in receipt of means-tested benefits.
Clare Davies B.Ed. M.Sc had the honorary position of Managing Director for 15 years with the Charity and has been a Natural Health Practitioner for over 31 years. As a result of the changes and the possible closure of the Centre she decided to buy the property and to continue running the Centre on a private business plan but still keeping to the original Centres aims and objectives.
The Centre aims to:
- improve public welfare through the use of holistic, natural methods.
- work with existing medical services to provide the best possible treatment for patients.
- fully inform patients of their choices in health care.
- provide a Centre from where local practitioners can work and support each other.
