Acupuncture
Traditional acupuncturists believe that the underlying principle of treatment is that illness and pain occur when the body's qi, or vital energy, cannot flow freely. There can be many reasons for this; emotional and physical stress, poor nutrition, infection or injury, are among the most common. By inserting ultra-fine sterile needles into specific acupuncture points, a traditional acupuncturist seeks to re-establish the free flow of qi to restore balance and trigger the body's natural healing response.
Acupressure Massage
This is given through clothing either in a special chair, (upper body) or on a couch (full body). Pressures are applied to specific points along the energy channels, using a variety of techniques involving the practitioner's hands and arms.
Allergy Testing (There are various methods)
Kinesiology is a muscle testing technique used to determine the ability of the body to cope with external environmental stresses, including food sensitivities. When a substance is introduced to a muscle group and a change is detected in the strength of the muscle, this is an indication of sensitivity. The practitioner balances the muscle group using various methods to strengthen the immune system in order for the body to cope.
Dowsing using a pendulum (crystal or wood) is a technique both usable by the practitioner and patient/client alike.
Hair analysis not inhouse but sent away to a specialist
Kinesiology was originally developed by an American chiropractor called George Goodheart. He found that by testing muscle response before and after he made chiropractic corrections he achieved better results for his patients. As time progressed he was able to make a connection between various muscles and acupuncture meridians. By testing these muscles the kinesiologist can get a picture of what is happening in your meridian system and how this may be affecting you. So, kinesiology can be seen as a blend of the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine and western techniques which enable a kinesiologist to treat you as an individual. Each person’s session is unique to them. Kinesiology uses a range of gentle yet extremely powerful techniques. Kinesiology also allows the kinesiologist to draw on other healing techniques and modalities and integrate them into the session where appropriate and indicated by the muscle response. Alexander Technique

Counselling
BACP Definition of Counselling
Counselling and psychotherapy are umbrella terms that cover a range of talking therapies. They are delivered by trained practitioners who work with people over a short or long term to help them bring about effective change or enhance their wellbeing.
The counsellor will listen to you, help you to understand your feelings and explore ways of making changes. You may find it helpful to look at how past experiences can affect present attitudes and responses. You will be encouraged to take an honest look at your life and how you relate to others.
Cranial Osteopathy
Cranial Osteopaths are trained to feel a very subtle rhythmical shape change that is present in all body tissues. This is called involuntary motion. The skull is made up of 26 bones that are intricately joined in such a way that during the rhythmical cycle of involuntary motion, the skull can actually change shape very slightly to accommodate the normal involuntary motion of the brain inside.
Dowsing
Although no thorough scientific explanations for dowsing has yet been found it is frequently acknowledged that there is some correlation between the dowsing reaction and changes in magnetic flux when dowsing on site.
What is more difficult for the newcomer to accept is that dowsing can be carried out at a distance and, moreover, the distance itself has no bearing on the results; dowsing can be carried out for something in the next room or the next continent. This is of immense practical use for site dowsers who save themselves and their clients valuable time by initially, at least, dowsing at a distance to seek the direction of the nearest source, for example, or actually dowsing over a map of an area to determine more precisely the target of the search.
This particular faculty is frequently used by those practitioners using dowsing in the area of health when they are able to dowse for causative factors and suitable remedies at a distance from the patient, employing a sample or witness of the person, for example, on which to focus their attention.
Dowsing has been defined by Major-General Jim Scott-Eliot, a Past President of the Society, in his book 'Dowsing - One Man's Way as: 'The ability to use a Natural Sensitivity which enables us to know things we cannot know by the use of the day to day brain or by learning, by experience, or by the use of the five physical senses.'
Dietary Therapy
Help is given as to the right foods to eat, vitamins, minerals etc. The food we eat has great bearing on what we are. Many health problems can be resolved by correct diet and high quality natural supplements.
